SO ALONE
On my way home to North Carolina from England I am stuck in New York. Somehow my flights got so mixed up that I actually have 20 hours of waiting. It was either spend my time in the airport, or go wander the city alone. Damn right I went a wonderin.

Filled with so many different emotions, I made my way through the streets of Manhattan. Completely devastated because I was not with my Rosie, I got to know the city in a different way than ever before.
I have done the New York thing before, but this time the city seemed to take on a different feel than ever before.
Things were quieter.
Things were slower.
The city seemed smaller.
And I seemed bigger.

I walked and imagined my Rosie by my side, knowing exactly what she would say to everything we saw.

I saw glimpses of our future throughout the day and started feeling better. (Stopping in 2 different Starbucks and chatting with Rosie for a couple of hours each time helped too)

This is me. Alone. In the City.

As soon as Rosie and I saw each other for the first time we started each other "Little" and "Big". We had never had these nicknames for each other before, but they just came out, and fit us perfectly. I am her Big and She is my Little. So in this photo I have made myself 3 times larger than life (Compare my foot to that of the people standing 3 feet to my left and you will see it)
